Governor Blunt certainly didn't waste much time in launching his
Republican attack against the environment. In the Friday massacre, he
eliminated a lot of people from the DNR. Jay Nixon will have his hands
full in protecting the state's natural resources from Blunt.

Blunt's anti-environment behavior is typical of a Republican,
continuing the legacy of state Republicans Kit Bond, John Ashcroft, and
Jo Ann Emerson.

So much for young politicians being better.

Many people who voted for Blunt over McCaskill would have voted for
Holden over Blunt, so the Democrats share some blame.

It's the usual thing. I'd imagine all the DNR jobs are appointed positions,
so Blunt's gotta pay back all his Republican cronies for helping him get
elected by appointing them to jobs, kinda like that shrub did *to* U.S.
when he *appointed* that Bastard Ashcroft to U.S. Atty Gen!

Thank glub *that* dirty little period of American History is history now!

the dems never learn--go out and kill each other in the primary and give
it to the rep. dems should have had all their bs(and Claire) out of
the way and stood solid behind Holden.
what the hell was that lame campaign of Nancy Farmer---most stupid
political ads. she should have got video of Bond in one of his less
sober moments and rammed it down his throat. guess Nancy's to nicey,
nice.
