Peeps should check out and bookmark this cool website on local activism:

http://www.kcdirectaction.net/

The KC Direct Action Network attempts to aid activists and other
socially concerned individuals in the Kansas City Metro Area to move out
from behind protest signs to take an active role in their community.

KCDAN feels that it is necessary to implement a diversity of tactics
when confronting issues we face today and we encourage people to
identify their personal boundaries and limitations.

Although we are anti-authoritarian by nature, we do not intend to
emphasize a single political philosophy. It is felt that in order to
confront current problems, we must move beyond sectarianism and build a
united movement.

Does this mean we can look forward to trust-fund babies throwing molotov
cocktails at the police here in our very own city? Woohoo!

This makes no sense.

Lovely.....I especially like the begging for money for the morons that got
arrested. No wonder they have all this time to protest, they don't freakin
work...... what a waste of bandwidth and disk space that site it.
